Second place Brett Wood funeral Chris Howell, The Herald-Times (Bloomington) Comments: Good selection of images beyond the obvious make this a winner. Best Picture Story with Audio or Video Story/ Category 21 First place Tour of new Parkview Regional Medical Center Sarah Janssen, Fort Wayne News-Sentinel Comments: Not an over-the-top-interesting subject, but the interactive element of this package is really cool! Ive never seen anything like this at any other newspaper website. Mouse over a picture or a word on a picture for descriptive audio. Brilliant! Second place Walking in the shadows of 9/11 Mark Bennett & Rachel Keyes, Tribune-Star (Terre Haute) Comments: Good, in-depth subject with good video, photos and stories. This is a nice total multi-media package. The more I looked at it the more I liked it. Sonner Faught scrubs the sticks of grave-marker flags at his home in Sullivan. Sonner worked in tandem with his wife, Joann, by cleaning the flags first, and then Joann irons them. The Faughts spruce up the flags every year at their home and then, with the help of volunteers, place them on the graves of veterans in Sullivan County. Third place Tori Swoape vigil Lathay Pegues, The Star Press (Muncie) Comments: Touching story. Very good video, shots and audio. Well-done. Page 55
