Two-day National Shoot to Retrieve Indiana Region Field Trial The Pike County Bird Hunters Club hosted a two-day National Shoot To Retrieve Association (NSTR A) Indiana Region field trial this past weekend. There were 32 braces on both Saturday and Sunday from Indiana and Kentucky. Pike County Bird Hunters Club President Chris Kinman made participants wel- come and did most of the cooking for breakfast and lunch with help from Randy Beck and Jim Capozella. Other club members assisting with the trial were Jeff Barton, Ray Bryant, Gary Welch and Donna Wat- kins. Charlie Thomas was the NSRTA Indiana Region field trial chairman. A large contingent of RVs, ea- ger bird dogs and their owners filled the club grounds from daylight until late afternoon both days. Shot- guns, dogs and quail rising were the order of the day for NSTR A participants taking to the Pike County Bird Hunter fields. James Capozella photo Christian Cavaliers Ministries at Otwell Wesleyan Church, Oct. 8 The Christian Cavaliers Ministries, featuring Maurice (Mo) and Neva Tindell, of Columbus, Ind., will be performing October 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the Otwell Wesleyan Church. A carry-in dinner will be after the concert at the fellowship hall. The public is invited.
