Main Street • Petersburg, IN 47567 Goodpaster recognized as 2017 Southwest District Assessor of the Year Pike County Assessor Mike Goodpaster was re- cently recognized by his peers as the 2017 South- west District Assessor of the Year for the Indiana County Assessor's Asso- ciation. The Indiana County Assessor's Association (ICA A) is a non-partisan association of Indiana's elected county assessors which are dedicated to the improvement and ed- ucation of county asses- sors throughout the state. The southwest district in- cludes the following coun- ties: Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Greene, Knox, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Sul- livan, Vanderburgh and Warrick. Each district in the ICA A has chosen one member who has stood out for their work on behalf of the ICA A and their own county. Mike was formally hon- ored at last month's asses- sor's conference in India- napolis where he said he was, "Grateful and excep- tionally honored to receive this award." In addition, Mike was also re-elected the SW District president, a position he was first elect- ed to in 2016.
