Second grade learning the National Anthem for our Veteran's Day Program. Second grader Elizabeth Willis spent her chief tickets to use Mr. King's chair for the day. Mrs. Knust's second grade class released their final Monarch butterfly to fly to Mexico. The class released a total of 19 butterflies that they raised from eggs. Pictured are Kailee Wiscaver, Loralei Hoskins, Ellie Arnold, and Nevaeh Myers; who all reacted as the butterfly took flight. MENU Thursday, October 5: Ta- co salad, corn chips, refried beans and pineapple tidbits. Friday, October 6: Chick- en and noodles, mashed po- tatoes, green beans and or- ange. Monday, October 9: BBQ chicken with bun, sweet po- tato fries, baked beans and banana. Tuesday, October 10 : Beef and cheese nachos, shred- ded romaine, salsa, straw- berries and cookie. Wednesday, October 11: Chicken nuggets with a roll, scalloped potatoes, corn and an orange.
