DONNA BELLE GROSS Donna Belle Gross, 81, of Winslow, passed away Tues- day, September 26, 2017, at Amber Manor in Peters- burg. She was born April 28, 1936, in Winslow, to Cecil and Minerva Auten Hamm. She was married to Don- ald Gross for 64 years and attended Brenton Chapel Church of Christ. She was a housewife and a wonder- ful mother. She is survived by her husband, Donald Gross, of Winslow; daughters, Deb- bi (Dan) Rodden, of Buf- falo, Ill. and Kathy ( Joel) Wilhite, of Oakland City; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Paul Gross and David Gross. Funeral services were at noon on Friday, Septem- ber 29, with graveside ser- vices at Pleasant Ridge Cem- etery in Pike County. Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ELDEN WAYNE HARVEY Elden Wayne Harvey, 80, of Petersburg, passed away at 2:47 p.m. on October 1, 2017, in Jasper. He was born on March 10, 1937, in Petersburg, to Elden and Pansy (Dunn) Harvey. He retired from U.S. Gyp- sum in Shoals as a gypsum miner and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Rhodes) Har- vey, whom he married in November 10, 1958; three daughters, Teresa Parker and Brenda Rickard, both of Petersburg, and Lisa Sum- mers, of Washington; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. JULIE DAWN BENTON, Julie Dawn Benton, 50, passed away Sept. 29, 2017, at her residence in Monroe City. She was born March 4, 1967, in Washington, to Dale and Ruby (Hill) McCrary. She married her husband, Kevin Benton, on August 9, 1986. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Benton; son, Brandon Benton; par- ents, Dale and Ruby Mc- Crary; grandchildren, Brax- ton Benton and Hannah Iv- ers; sisters, Marla Raley, Mindy Wright and Lori Def- fendoll, and their families. Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Ap- ostolic Lighthouse Church in Monroe City, with visita- tion from 10 a.m. until ser- vice time. Burial followed at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, dona- tions may be made to the Ju- lie Benton Memorial Fund. Checks may be made pay- able to Kevin Benton. Ferguson, 55, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sep- tember 28, 2017, in the emer- gency room of Memorial Hos- pital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born May 6, 1962, in Huntingburg, to Walter Je- rome and Ruth Ann ( Von- derheide) Ferguson. He was employed as a woodworker at Office Furniture Styline and was a member of the Frater- nal Order of Eagles in Hunt- ingburg. He is survived by four chil- dren, Zachary Ferguson, of Evansville, Aleshia Kuebler, of Petersburg, Lauren Fer- guson, of Jasper, and Payton Ferguson, at home; his moth- er, Ruth Ann Ferguson, of Jas- per; 11 siblings, Randy Fergu- son, of Huntingburg, Steve Ferguson, of Huntingburg, Marilyn Carrico, of Hunt- ingburg, Sheilah Eversman, of Jasper, Tony Ferguson, of Huntingburg, Jenny Himsel, of Jasper, Gary Ferguson, of Lincoln City, Tom Ferguson, of Jasper, Chris Ferguson, of Huntingburg, Trell Fergu- son, of Corydon, and Camer- on Ferguson, of Jasper; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Jerome Ferguson. A funeral mass for Kenny Ferguson was at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Huntingburg, with burial following in St. Mary's Cem- etery. Scarce, 72, of Richmond, Ind., died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Golden Living Cen- ter-Golden Rule. She was born on Nov. 9, 1944, in Richmond, to Wil- lie and Edna Marie (Mull- ins) Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa ( Jeff ) King, of Eaton; son, Michael R. Scarce, of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren; brothers, Loyd Jones, of Greenfield, Ind., Ed Jones, of Richmond, and Alvin PAUL D. BREWSTER Paul D. Brewster, 52, of Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the Deaconess Hos- pital in Evansville. He was born September 8, 1965, in Noblesville, to Rog- er and Wilma R. (Kendall) Brewster. He served in the U. S. Na- vy. Before his illness, he worked as assistant manag- er at O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Petersburg. He attended the Brenton Chapel Church of Christ. He married Chas- tity McCandless on August 3, 2012, in Pike County. He is survived by his mother, Wilma Brewster, of Petersburg; wife, Chasti- ty Brewster, of Petersburg; daughter, Alicia Labhart, of Jasper; sons, Jacob Brew- ster, of Winslow, Kaleb Ma- son, of Evansville, and Quen- ton Brewster, of Petersburg; stepsons, Seth Phillips, of Oakland City, and Clayton Phillips, of Washington; 11 grandchildren; sister, Li- sa Brewster, of Petersburg; brothers, Roger Allen Brew- ster, of Kansas, Rich Brew- ster, of Washington, and Bri- an Brewster, of Petersburg. Funeral services were Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Curtis Funer- al Home in Winslow, with James Elshoff officiating. Burial followed in the Pleas- ant Ridge Cemetery. Mili- tary services were provided by the VFW of Petersburg. PAUL DAVID ARMSTRONG Paul David Armstrong, 70, of Winslow, died Thurs- day, September 28, 2017, at Amber Manor in Peters- burg. He was born to Roy and Wilma (Gladish) Armstrong on March 22, 1947, in Ba- kersfield, Calif. He married Karla Craw- ford on May 31, 1985, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 1, 2015. He was a semi-truck driver for forty years until retiring in 2008. Surviving are his sis- ter, Carol ( James) Butler; brother, Don (Renee) Arm- strong; niece, Kelly Butler Armstrong; nephews, Tim and Rob Butler, and Nick Armstrong; great-nieces, Maddi, Mallory and Re- gina Ray Butler, and Oliv- ia Branan; great-nephews, Gavin Branan and Lucas Armstrong; and stepdaugh- ters, Christina and Tere- sa Hopf, Kim Johnson, Lisa Reed and their families. Next the power sup- ply, it is what takes pow- er from the wall and turns it down so that it can be used by the computer and the parts. Different parts will use more than others. The CPU will use the most amount of pow- er out of the parts we've talked about in this arti- cle. The power supply is rated by the efficacy and by the wattage it can put out. If you are building your own computer then make sure your power supply is enough to power your entire system. The power supply converts alternating current from the wall to direct current which is what your com- puter needs to run. If the power supply didn't con- vert from AC to DC the computer would flicker and fail to get the power needed. These are the main parts of the computer and hopefully now seem simplified. Do note that there are hundreds of options between all the parts included in this ar- ticle that can fit many dif- ferent needs.
