Xavery Weisman ran an 18:34 and took third behind Princeton's Heidi Meade and Haley Me- ade. Princeton took the cham- pionship with Tell City second and Forest Park third. Grabbing the top spot in the middle school PAC was PC Middle School eighth grader Emiley Riker with an 11:39.9. She was more than 10 seconds ahead of Patriot Emma Al- dridge and 23 seconds in front of Ellie Meunier from Forest Park. Riker's team trailed Forest Park (36) and Gibson Southern (73) with 82 points. Joining the Pike Central varsity girls at the front were Anna Whitehead (10, 20 :05), Kaylyn Warner (30, 21:49), Kennedy Willis (36, 22:20), Kylee Weathers (48, 23:34) and Ashlynn Kirk (63-26:42). Charger cross country coach Randy Graham stated, "We are very happy for the kids today. We had thirteen kids set career best times and three others ran season best times. At the end of the day, that's what it is all about. Ev- eryone is pushing each other, showing steady improvement and getting better. Every run- ner deserves recognition to- day. We saw some big chunks of time come off those PRs and that is a lot of fun to see. "Of course, it is always great to get some kids make all Con- ference teams too. Congratu- lations to Xavery and Anna for making First Team All-PAC and also for Peyton and Jere- my for making Second Team All-PAC. Middle school reserve run- ners included Indiana Hill (11, 14:12), Mia Query (17, 15:08), Neva Schilling (19, 15:10.4), Alivia Weitkamp (25, 15:24), Caleigh Cox (27, 15:31), Adri- enne Troutt (40, 17:06.6) and Cheyenne Denny (49, 18:21). Varsity girls team results: Princeton 37, Tell City 88, For- est Park 100, Pike Central 127, Southridge 145, North Posey 147, Gibson Southern 158, Boonville 174, Heritage Hills 201, Mt. Vernon 222, Wash- ington 254. Middle school girls team re- sults: Forest Park 36, Gibson Southern 73, Pike Central 82, Mt. Vernon 103, Princeton 111, Tell City 128, North Posey 136. Gibson Southern won the team championship edging out Tell City and Princeton. The hosts took the champion- ship placing three in the top seven along with Alex Spin- dler who won in 16:07 over Pa- triot Aiden Mattingly (16:13). Senior Dallas Reutepohler was the Charger third place runner (35, 18:21.1) followed by Dylan Charles (49, 19:16), Carter Blackwell (50, 19:18), Shane Woodhull (53, 19:22) and Tyler DeCoursey (55, 19:29). Quintin McCor- mick finished 11th in 20 :19 followed by Ethan Mann (16, 21:37) and Kenny Gerard (20, 23:08). Gannon Western placed 25th and clocked 11:47 in the middle school race. Tay- lor Russell was next in 47th (13:12), followed by Conner Fields (48, 13:12), Joey Wor- ley (66, 14:16) and Carson Lofton (58, 14:31). Cruz Fur- man ran a 12:9.9 to 15th place in the middle school reserve race and Gunner Blake was 41st in 17:19). Boys Varsity team results: Gibson Southern 50, Tell City 56, Princeton 89, Her- itage Hills 107, Forest Park 125, Pike Central 173, North Posey 200, Boonville 238, Te- cumseh 242, Mt. Vernon 260, Southridge 271. Boys Middle school team results: Tell City 52, Forest Park 62, Gibson Southern 79, Heritage Hills 89, Princeton 145, Southridge 146, Wash- ington 206, Pike Central 209, Boonville 217, South Spencer 298. Pike Central's Xavery Weisman runs to the finish line Saturday morn- ing in the PAC meet. She finished third. Anna Whitehead pushes to hold her place at the finish. She ran a time of 20:05 to place 10th for Pike Central. Pike Central's Emily Riker sprints across the fin- ish line in first place in the girls middle school PAC cross country meet. Second place is in the distance behind her. Riker won in a time of 11:39 beating second place by 24 seconds. Shane Woodhull and Tyler DeCoursey run together during the PAC meet. Wood- hull finished in 53rd with a time of 19:22, while DeCoursey placed 55th in a time of 19:29.
