Awareness walk shines light for recovery
On Friday, the Good Samaritan LIFT team hosted a Recovery Walk which saw over 40 participants.
The team is funded by State Opioid Response and DMHA with advocacy support provided by Children and Family Services, The River of Life Church, Save Haven and
Real Recovery. The purpose to the event was to bring awareness to the recovery community of Pike County and to reduce stigma related to community responses to sub-
stance use disorders.
The LIFT team will focus this year on bringing more recovery support to Pike County through Peer Recovery Services.
