A season ticket to the sec- tional is $15 and a single ses- sion ticket is $7. The other games set for the Washington sectional are: Washington vs Southridge at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3; Sullivan vs Princeton at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 and Vincennes Lincoln vs Gibson Southern in the 8 p.m. game on Tuesday. The Press-Dispatch Wednesday, September 28, 2022 B-5 Bird hunter youth day is Oct. 8 By James Capozella Press-Dispatch News news@pressdispatch.net Saturday, October 8 is the date for the 16th Annual Pike County Bird Hunters' Club Youth Day, starting at 8 a.m. with a free breakfast for all youth, followed by archer y, muzzle loader, BB gun, darts, .22 rifle marksmanship, trap shooting and Chukkar hunt- ing over dogs. The club welcomes all 4-H Shooting Sports youth, Scouts and all other youth interested in the great out- doors. A Lethal 405 crossbow is the #1 grand prize and a Savage over-under 20 gauge shotgun is the #2 grand prize. A total of 23 rifles, shotguns, compound bows and crossbows will be given away in a random drawing at the end of the day. Additional prizes include Two TriStar Viper shotguns, Two TriStar Cobra youth shotguns, four Ruger 10/22 rifles, two Bear Archer y Ap- prentice bows, four youth Genesis bows, a Remington 1187, a Remington 870, a Wolf 209 muzzle loader, two youth archer y compound bows and a Gameforce semi-auto Airsoft BB gun are also in the drawing. The new clubhouse is lo- cated five miles south of Pe- tersburg and two miles west on Division Road. All youth ages seven through 18 are welcome. After the club-provided lunch, a demonstration by Pike County Deputy Sheriff Buck Seger and K-9 Bleck will take place.
