Irene's Room Food Pan- try is open from 9 -11 a.m. the third Saturday of each month. Use the entrance on the west side of the building. The Spirit of God is mov- ing in our church. The hearts and lives of people are being refreshed and re- newed. We are continuing to experience revival that began in early August. We would love to meet you and share what has been happen- ing in our church. God's love and presence is evident. We hope to see you soon. Our Mission Statement: To Know Christ; To Share Christ and To Live Christ. "Lord, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, In our time make them known; In wrath remember mercy" (Habak- kuk 3:2). Fred J. Grenier, Pastor Corinna Williams, Report- er Pentecostal Presbyterian Wesleyan HOUSE OF MERCY CHURCH Corner of East and Porter Winslow Pastor 812-789-5229 A Church with open arms and a loving heart. Sunday morning worship service at 10 a.m. with Sun- day school classes at 10 :45 a.m.; Every other Tuesday night, prayer at 7 p.m. Jesus spoke many times in the gospels and the angel of the Lord in Revelation 2:29 says, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spir- it has to say to the church- es." Are you in the place that you hear and heed the voice of the Spirit? It is very nec- essary for our lives to be in fulfillment of God and His Word, and to live the life that Jesus says can be ours. I pray if you are not atten- tive to the voice of the Spir- it that you will begin to pre- pare yourself to receive and be all you can be for Jesus. When in Winslow, drive by and see what God is do- ing. Pray for your country, our president and government, your local government, our soldiers and all pastors. Re- member to pray for the sick and afflicted, and those in the nursing homes and hos- pitals. Be a friend to your neigh- bors, co-workers, any with whom that you come into contact. To have a friend, you need to be a friend. Je- sus said what you give out is what you will receive back. May you find peace and joy in your life this week. The woman told him, "When you're older, people will tell you that God is al- ways watching you to see when you do wrong, in order to punish you. I don't want you to think of it that way. Instead, take the text home and remember all your life that God loves you so much he can't take his eyes off you." Office hours: 9 a.m.-noon, Monday-Friday.
