NO. 1383291 Pike County, Indiana is planning to undertake the replacement of Pike County Bridge #150 (NBI #6300101: Bridge 150), funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). e project is located in Section 2, T2S, R7W, in Marion Township of Pike County, Indiana. Under the preferred alternative, the proposed project would consist of the replacement of Pike Bridge 150 with a modern bridge and relocation of existing Bridge 150 to another location for re-use. e new bridge at CR 650E over the Patoka River would likely be a single span composite prestressed concrete 42-inch x 49-inch Bulb Tee Beam Bridge with a span of approximately 107 feet. e project limits will extend from approximately 350 feet south of the bridge to the south side of the railroad tracks located just north of the bridge. e project includes a minor amount of approach roadway reconstruction and widening north and south of the bridge. e project also includes the removal, disassembly, relocation and rehabilitation of the bridge for re-use in another location. Per the terms of the "Programmatic Agreement Regarding Management and Preservation of Indiana's Historic Bridges" (HBPA), FHWA satisfies its Section 106 responsibilities involving "Select" and "Non-Select" bridges through the Project Development Process of the HBPA (Stipulation III). Bridge 150 has been classified as a "Select" bridge by the INDOT Historic Bridge Inventory; therefore, the procedures outlined in Stipulation III.A. of the HBPA will be followed, including holding a public hearing for the project prior to completion of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies. e hearing will be advertised at a later date. Additionally, because rehabilitation of the bridge is an element of the preferred alternative, the standard treatment approach described in Attachment B of the HBPA (Standard Treatment Approach for Historic Bridges) will be followed to the extent practicable. e proposed action does not impact properties, in addition to Bridge 150, listed on or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. e Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), on behalf of the FHWA, has issued a "No Historic Properties Affected" finding for the project due to the fact that no historic properties, in addition to Bridge 150, are present within the Area of Potential Effects (APE). In accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act, the views of the public are being sought regarding the effect of the proposed project on the historic elements as per 36 CFR 800.2(d), 800.3(e) and 800.6(a)(4). Pursuant to 36 CFR 800.4(d)(1), the documentation specified in 36 CFR 800. 11(d) is available for inspection in DLZ Indiana's Indianapolis, Indiana Office located at 157 E Maryland Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204-3608, and at the Pike County Highway Department located at 552 N State Road 61, Petersburg, IN 47567. Additionally, documentation for this project can be viewed electronically by accessing INDOT's Section 106 document posting website IN SCOPE at http://erms.indot.in.gov/Section106Documents. is documentation serves as the basis for the "No Historic Properties Affected" finding. e views of the public on this effect finding are being sought. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, col- umn and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by us- ing the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle!
