Model, Vera Weathers, escorted by Claude Mauney Cindy Dickson Cindy Dickson Meet Cindy! Cindy has been such a great help at the front desk. She normally works on a Wednesday morn- ing but you may find her here any time filling in for any of her co-workers. Cindy has been so helpful, making sure that everyone gets the right help they need. Her hello smile has been a big pleasure to see as you enter the front door. Cindy has also been helping out in the consignment shop, getting things organized and selling lots of “items”. It’s also possible to find Cindy helping in the kitchen with any of our big events (by the way – Thank you Cindy for cutting up all the onions as well as helping out at the Health Fair or where ever you are needed!) It’s great to have such terrific volunteers like you. We really appreciate all that you do! CORNER CORNER The Senior Center Volunteer meeting will be October 6, 2010 @ 1:00 pm. We will be discussing many upcoming events with special volunteer opportunities. Please come and join us as our needs change all the time. I’ll need help with flu shot registra- tion, movie set up, the Consignment Shop, and the membership event (we will need help with our cast, as they will have to change costumes quickly and also help with the sound system). We are always in need of help in many different areas – as you know – we are getting older and some of us are no longer able to do as much as we used to. Please come. I will gladly give you a tour and go over many of the volunteer opportunities available at the Senior Center. Thank you to all the volunteers, we appreciate all you do!
