"[My sister and I] got to enjoy that year together," Sutt said. "But, now I get to join her in the sisterhood of being Miss Pike County. It makes it even more special to me that we can share this experience and journey to- gether. "The Pike County pag- eants have always played an important role in our lives. We help with them every year, and I'm so excited to take it all in and enjoy my year as Miss Pike County." Sutt will now compete in August at the Indiana State Fair for the honors of Miss Indiana. She will have a busy schedule during the next year, with many differ- ent parades and events add- ed to her calendar. The first place she will be showing off her crown is at the Pike County 4-H Fair. "Come to the fair and if you see me out there, say hello," she said. "It is one of the best fairs in the state, and be sure to check out the rodeo and the motocross." It blows my mind that I was able to win, and I'm glad that I was able to do it with a bunch of other girls that I got closer to throughout the course of the whole thing." Young said she wanted to get involved with pageants because it seemed like fun and her mother did it when she was younger. "My mom is my role mod- el," Young said. "I know when I grow up that I want to be like her. So, I was kind of just following in her foot- steps. I just loved doing this with everybody."
