As part of Ivy Tech Community College's College Connection Program, students in Mrs. Shuler's Early Childhood class partici- pated in a presentation by Oakland City University Early Education faculty member Kristie France. France talked about the early childhood career field and what type of education is required to enter the field. Students also participated in hands-on activities, including salad spinner art, to gain a better understanding of what educational activities are involved in teaching in an early child- hood environment.
