Director of OC Public Library attends annual conference Oakland City-Columbia Township Public Library Di- rector Julie Elmore, recently began her second year as a Board Member for the Asso- ciation for Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL). The year kicked off at their annual conference in Fargo, N.D. on Oct. 27, with over 500 library profession- als networking and learn- ing from each other about issues important to small and rural libraries. Post conference, Elmore attend- ed board meetings with 14 other board members to fo- cus on association business. Elmore currently serves as the ARSL Marketing and Membership Committee co-chair and the vice-chair for the 2017 Annual Confer- ence, September 7-9, in St. George, Utah.
