C-2 Church Wednesday, May 4, 2016 The Press-Dispatch It's amazing what you'll wear when you've had too much catnip at a Cinco de Mayo party! This week, PAWS is featuring a lively young fellow named Jose. Jo- se is a handsome ti- ger-striped tabby with thick, plush fur. His fur has a unique shade of dark brown flecks mixed with his stripes of black. This young fel- low likes to lay under the sink at PAWS and he will use his paws like hands to open the cup- board door. Jose likes attention and if you spend time with him, he is very en- gaging and entertain- ing. He also has strik- ing green eyes that add even more pizazz to his endearing personality. Jose can be adopted by calling 812-354-9894. We should be equally loud and frequent with our praise to our God, all the time and at any time! As the psalm says, "I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continual- ly be in my mouth"(Psalm 34:1). Eddie Willis, Pastor Karri Brock, Reporter ARTHUR G.B. CHURCH 5670 S. We congratulate Levi and Samantha Poehlein on their recent marriage. May God Bless them with a long and happy marriage! As we say goodbye to Pas- tor Kyle, Kim, Bailey, Anna, Landon and Grayson this Sun- day, we pray that God will be very near to them as they be- gin another phase of their lives. We are so grateful for the four years they have been with us and are so sorry to see them leave. We know the Lord has great things in store for them. "What we see will last on- ly a short time, but what we cannot see will last forever" (2 Corinthians 4:18). As we celebrate Mother's day this Sunday, we know it is a sad time for those of us who have lost our mothers. We thank God for memories that stay with us. If you are fortunate to have your moth- er with you, take the time to show her how much she mean to you. Mothers gladly sacrifice so much for their children. Show them how much you love and appreciate them. We invite you to worship with us. Kyle Moore, Pastor Marla Morrison, Reporter AYRSHIRE VALLEY G.B. CHURCH 1947 E. Co. Rd. 375 S. "And the Lord said, 'Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his house- hold, to give them their por- tion of meat in due season? " We often praise God for his faithfulness. We're thankful that we can always count on Him to be there for us. But we rarely consid- er the fact that He needs us to be faithful, too. God needs you just as He needed Moses. He needs you to be faithful and alert to spiritual things. He needs you to be someone He can trust to know the Word and be obedient to it. Will you be faithful? It's a decision you have to make. No one can do it for you. Right now, commit yourself to be that wise and faithful servant. Say in your heart and with your mouth, "God, You can count on me." Read Psalm 105:23-45. You are welcome to wor- ship with us in any or all our services. Frank Coleman, Pastor Eleanor Bellamy, Report- er BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH An Independent Baptist Church 4995 N. Co. Jesus was speaking of the Holy Spirit, who is a gift to believers (Acts 2). As Jesus spent time with her, she be- gan to understand that He wasn't concerned about the physical water. God has giv- en us an amazing gift, Him- self, in the form of the Ho- ly Spirit. He not only lives in us, but will also empower us to change things in this physical world. God has nev- er been limited by the phys- ical. He wants us to under- stand, operate, and be led through the Holy Spirit. "The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spir- it is life and peace" (Romans 8:6).
