Pike Central students participate in Drum Corps International World Championships Five Pike Central Middle School stu- dents, three Pike Central High School students and one PCHS graduate par- ticipated in the opening of the Drum Corps International World Champion- ships this past weekend. The middle school students – Han- nah Bush, Alex Edrington, Sarah Fen- wick, Mallory Hunt and Morgan Sallee – were among 500 students selected from more than 700 applications to per- form at Lucas Oil Stadium for the open- ing of the DCI World Championships. These students also had the oppor- tunity to perform alongside Al Chez, former trumpeter of the Tonight Show Band. The older students are alumni of the DCI INpact program and served as mentors to the younger students.
