Six Pike Central Lady Chargers got on the board with Brailey Mills leading the way with a game-high 10 points, a pair of three baggers and two of four from the line. Liberty Taylor accounted for eight points including six of nine from the line. Kahle Young contributed two from beyond the arc in the win and Shelby Meadows had four markers, hitting two of three from the line. Keena Young got on the scoreboard with three points as did Tiffany Artega. Coach Trey Wornica com- mented, "This was a slower paced game. Liberty Taylor and Shelby Meadows finished well to get the win." Totals 25 9-15 9 65 EPIC Continued from page 1 LADY CHARGERS FALL BY FIVE POINTS The Lady Chargers lost a close battle with Tecumseh, 91-86 in Saturday's meet. Senior Jillian Bailey had three first place finishes and a second. She won the 50 free with a time of 28.05 and add- ed an individual second in the 100 back with a time of 1:12.11. Bailey was also a mem- ber of two winning relay. She teamed with Xavery Weis- man, senior Shelby Keeker and Alexis Oswalt in the 200 medley relay to win in a time of 2:07.8, nearly eight seconds faster than second place. Bailey was also a member of the winning 200 free relay with Weisman, Addy Russell and Jackie Berry. They won in 1:57.5, nearly nine seconds better than second place. Oswalt had a big night for the Chargers. She won the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:08.57 with Weisman in sec- ond at 1:11.7. Oswalt was also second in the 200 individual medley. She was part of the second place 400 free relay team with Weisman, Berry and Ruby Sallee, with a time of 4:36.53. Berry, along with being on three relay teams, placed third in the 100 free in 1:08.98, just 0.38 out of second place. It was one of two races the Chargers just missed out on a higher place. The Charger 200 free relay team of Sal- lee, Ella Adams, Kelsea Que- ry and Easton Bailey were touched out by 0.04 seconds for third place. Senior Shelby Keeker add- ed a first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:28.56 to go with her first in the medley relay.
