Santa Claus (Ed Lemond) came to Winslow riding in his bright red sleigh for the parade on Saturday. The Freedom and Fire Church in Winslow had a float in the pa- rade. 2019 Miss Buffalo Trace Queen Kassandra Evans beams in the morning sun while riding in the Winslow Christmas parade. Santa and his helpers make their way down Main St. in his newly refurbished sled. The horn section of Pike Central's Marching Band plays as they walk down Main St., Petersburg. Pike Central's Flag Corp leads the way for the Charger Marching Band. Violet Able squeals with excitement as she looks through a fence with her mother, Megan, at Santa's reindeer, that visited Petersburg on Sun- day afternoon. First Christian Church of Petersburg pastor D.J. Bryant walks alongside their float, with other volunteers handing out candy and information about the church. Teen Miss Queen Lauren Young has a blast throwing candy and waving to people in the Petersburg parade. Miss Pike County Abigail Sutt throws candy as she rides in the Petersburg Christmas parade. Michael Emmanuel and Christian Vickers pick up candy being thrown out by parade participants. The Petersburg Boy Scouts led the way for the Christ- mas parade on Saturday afternoon.
