Friday, January 18: Ham and cheese stuffer, tater tots, green beans and fruit. Monday, January 21: NO SCHOOL. Tuesday, January 22: Soft taco, lettuce, tomatoes, re- fried beans and fruit. Wednesday, January 23: Beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, roll and fruit. Mrs. Schoppenhorst had three science stations set up for the groups of students to study skel- etal structure and function. Pictured are: Jace Kell, Matthew Baker, Wylon Schoppenhorst, An- na O'Brien and Taylor Uppencamp. Fifth grade students used a skeletal project STEM kit to assemble and label a skeleton cor- rectly. They also learned the functions of the skel- eton. Mrs. Schoppenhorst's fifth grade Investigate technologies that mimic human or animal mus- culoskeletal systems in order to meet a need. Pic- tured are: Cyn'zier Hopdon-Lile, Valken Gott and Aydin Mikel. Corbin Traylor, Rueger Troutman and Avion Murry study facts. STEM project of making towers out of tooth- picks and marshmallows. This was a good team building activity for the kindergarten group. Jace Fields was the Humility award winner for December in the third grade class. Kylie Marcum works on Spelling City. Kindergartener Brendon Travis was all smiles when his name was drawn to win the perfect attendance bicycle for the second grading period. Kendra Harmon's second graders visited the Star Lab and learned about the stars, planets and constellations. Getting ready to hear the lesson are Carson Gayhart, Tucker Satterly, Hunter Tincher, Virginia Wininger, Areabella Slunder, Brody Hildebrand and Carter Bennett. Second graders Annabelle Zimmerman, Taylen Bailey, Kin- ley Blackwell and Arianna Richardson are ready to enter the Star Lab. Mrs. Shedd's first grade classroom got a visit from Santa during their Christmas party. Nevaeh Ferguson and Ava Seger from Stephanie Shedd's classroom play a candy cane game during their class Christ- mas party Claire Neal and Myka Robling in Jackie Henson's classroom have fun with their new bears as they work on a Christmas puz- zle paper.
