These skills al- low the graduates to function with one consistent set of priorities in a medical emergency. McCandless and Gladish host PGC meeting Trea McCandless and Eleanor Gladish were hostesses of the January meeting of the Peters- burg Garden Club, which met at the library. Fif- teen ladies were present as President Kay Benja- min read through the bylaws of the club. Plowing snow at VFW Saturday's snow accumulation was quickly taken care on the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3587 parking lot by Mike Western using his backhoe. Western has been a tireless helper for clearing the VFW parking lot and other projects for many years. Western and Joe Cummings were the two members who were instrumental in hauling and placing the naval gun that now sits on the VFW clubhouse property at Main and 12th streets. James Capozella photo
