Locally Owned and Operated Dr. Clint Shoultz 715 S. 9th Street, Petersburg (812) 354-9400 Pike Central Riley Dance Marathon yields $21,882 Members of the Pike Cen- tral High School Student Government capped off a year-long fundraising effort with the 4th Annual Pike Central Riley Dance Mara- thon on Saturday, May 5. The Student Government is responsible for planning all aspects of the seven- hour-long marathon, as well as holding monthly fundrais- ers during the school year leading up to the marathon. Special guests who have been patients at Riley Chil- dren's Hospital were invit- ed to share their stories and experiences through- out the evening. This year's special guests included Ma- bel McCrary, Tuff Vinnedge, Levi Bailey, Jadie and Mollie Overton, Zander Logston, Josie Pauw and J.J. Dean. All middle school and high school students are in- vited to attend the Pike Cen- tral Riley Dance Marathon, and are encouraged to fun- draise individually through- out the year as well. The top student fundrais- ers for the year were Quin Bailey ($2,025), Lily Wil- lis ($ 860), Breana Cow- an ($ 861), Tessa Vinnedge ($ 670), Natalie Bohnert ($ 665), Allyson Davis ($500) and Hannah Allen ($270). The total amount raised this year by Pike Central students was $21,882.92. In four years, the Pike Central Riley Dance Marathon has raised a total of $ 64,193.30 for the Herman B.
