(Hebrews 11:1) I personally try and live by this verse. We all hope for a bright and beautiful future, and need to keep confidence, or faith, that God has that plan for us in our lives. Sometimes this is a hard thing to keep confi- dence in. I understand that. We all have tests and trials in this life, that at times can seem impossible to over- come. But we can be re- assured and comforted by the fact that even though we do not see God physical- ly he is always there with us. Through every trial we face he is by our side and guiding us through it. All we have to do is keep faith in him and know that even though we can not see what is coming in the future he can. God loves you. Keep con- fidence in your hope, and faith in God's plan for your life. We welcome you to all services. Come and wor- ship Jesus with us. See our Facebook page Glezen Revival Center. Everyone is welcome. The Humble Christ It is related how the need of the West Indian slaves was presented to the Mora- vians. The Moravians were told that it was impossible to reach the slave population, because they were so sepa- rated from the ruling class- es. Undaunted, two Mora- vian missionaries offered themselves as candidates. They said, "We will go and be slaves on the plantations and work and toil if need be under the lash, to get right beside the poor slaves and instruct them." They left their homes, went to the West Indies, went to work on the plantations as slaves and by the side of slaves, to get close to the hearts of slaves. The slaves heard them, and their hearts were touched, because the mis- sionaries had humbled themselves to their condi- tion. That was grand and it was glorious. Yet Christ's ex- ample was more glorious, for He stepped down from heav- en to earth to get close to our side. He Himself came beside us that we might feel the throbbings of His bo- som, be encircled in the em- brace of His loving arms, be drawn to Him, and hear Him whisper in our ears, "God is full of grace and truth." Rodney Fretwell, Sr. Pas- tor Independent Independent work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Mes- senger]" ( John 6:29 AMP). We are called "believers" not "achievers". Our first work (service) is to "be- lieve", then the "achieve" (doing) will follow. Denny Wiscaver, Pastor Pam Nutter, Reporter as you go throughout your day. You have the opportu- nity to give these gifts to people as the Spirit of God, who lives inside of you, prompts you. Maybe the gift is a smile, a compliment, a prayer, an agreement in prayer, a financial blessing, etc. These are gifts that God has given to you. Now you have the option to pass these gifts out or you can take that wagon loaded with gifts back to the foot of your bed at the end of the day. The thing is, once you park that wagon, all of those gifts that God charged you with passing out but that still remain in the wagon, vanish as soon as it's parked in the evening. No one benefits from those gifts that you didn't hand out because may- be you were too busy to stop and talk to someone, or you were afraid of embarrassing yourself by asking a strang- er if they would like prayer. Whatever the reason, the gift that God gave to you to give went to waste. Allow the LOVE of God to be your wagon. Listen for His Spirit's prompting. For- get about yourself and be the ambassador of Christ that you were meant to be to this world. Calling all ladies.
