Satur- day, we gathered at Horna- dy Park for a Gospel Sing and Picnic for the commu- nity. Many came to fellow- ship and play music honor- ing Jesus Christ. This will be an annual event. The Out- reach Team coordinator, Be- linda Mounts, organized a great event. Contact Belin- da via Mt. Olive's Facebook page to find out more infor- mation on events and ways to help in our community. Sunday, August 27 was Baptism day at Mt. Olive. We had 74 people in atten- dance for Sunday worship and more at the Baptism ceremony. Eighteen were baptized Sunday. Those baptized were: Heather Loveless, Austin Loveless, Hunter Loveless, Aspen Childress, Tyler Price, Melo- dy Faulk, Addie Faulk, Tam- mie English, Laryn Faulk, Brena Potts, Eli Potts, Ja- ci Potts, Lane Potts, Chris- tina Potts, Dalton Riley, Brad Norrick, Betty Nor- rick, and Dean Norrick. We praise God for them publicly professing their faith in Je- sus Christ. Matthew Wool- ery performed the ceremo- ny, with Pastor Alex Benefiel assisting. The baptism was followed by a meal and fel- lowship on the church lawn. We hope to see you soon. Come as you are. Helping others to Know Christ, Grow in Christ and Go forth to serve Christ.
