We look forward to the hope it offers as we gladly bid adieu to the outgoing year. But for some, saying goodbye to 2022 will be bittersweet, because this year started with someone special that will not see year's end. For these grieving people, the year 2022 will forever be remembered as the year their loved one died. e In Memoriam section below contains not only the names of some of our dearest friends, but also members of our own family. As we all grieve, we do so together as a community. We thank you for the care and well wishes you gave us in our losses, and we thank you for the privilege of allowing the Harris family to serve you throughout our 152nd year of service to Pike County. A U L D L A N G S Y N E Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And days o' lang syne! For auld lang syne, my Dear, For auld lang syne, We'll take a cup o' kindness yet, For auld lang syne. We two have run about the hills, And pulled the daisies fine; But we've wander'd many a weary foot, Since auld lang syne. We two have paddled in the brook, From mornin' sun till dinnertime: But seas between us broad have roar'd, Since auld lang syne. And there's a hand, my trusty friend, And give us a hand o' thine; And we'll take a right goodwill draft, For auld lang syne. And surely ye'll buy your pint‐cup, And surely I'll buy mine; And we'll take a cup o' kindness yet, For auld lang syne. Farewell Farewell Since 1870 705 E.
