The Contractor receiving the Award shall furnish the Owner an approved performance bond and an approved payment bond (labor and materials), each in an amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the BID amount, both of which shall remain in full effect throughout the duration of the project plus a period of twelve (12) months following the Date of Substan- tial Completion of the project.
