LOVELESS Brenda L. Loveless, 67, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway in Evansville. She was born in Pike Coun- ty on December 13, 1954, to J.R. and Bonita (Hill) Gladish. She worked as a homemak- er. She is survived by her hus- band of 46 years, Michael Loveless; son, Jason Loveless; brothers, Roger ( Jean) Glad- ish and Morris Gladish; and sisters, Bonnie (Bud) Cum- mings and Jane (Clarence) Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Gladish. Funeral services were on Friday, December 2, 2022, at O.D. Dale was born in Winslow on May 26, 1942, to Arthur and Josephine (Kinman) Bea- dles. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He worked as a coal miner, retiring from Old Ben Coal Company. He was an avid outdoors man, spending time hunting, fishing, digging gin- seng, mushroom hunting, and participating in shooting matches. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Tennyson) Beadles; daughters, Robyn (Kevin) Thomas, Teresa (Kirk) Pen- nington and Sheila (Duane) Springston; son, Edward Payne; brother, Sammy Bea- dles, of Velpen; son-in-law, Da- vid Glaser, Sr.; sister, Donetta Pfieffer, of Port Richey, Fla.; grandchildren, Heather (Bri- an) Hatfield, Zachary Thom- as, Christopher (Lindsey) Rowe, Lacey (Shawn Kilgo- re) Snow, Dakota (Brianna) Snow, Nikki (Richard) Gracef- fa, Bonny Jean ( Jacob) Miller, Jessica (Bobby) Denton, Mat- thew and Adam Pennington, Samantha Springston and David Clement Glaser, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Aurora Rowe, Douglas Kilgore, Mia Miller, Jaxon Denton, Park- er Miller, Vanessa Graceffa and Macie Snow; niece, Tona (Scott) Satterfield; nephews, Kevin Beadles and Leland (Dawnalee) McCarty, Jr.; and great- nieces and nephews. Robinson, 45, of Carbondale, Ill. went to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 1, 2022. He was born on December 8, 1976 in Washington to El- don Robinson and Ruth Kneb- el. He enjoyed nature, riding his bike, music, walking, and being outdoors. He is survived by his father, Eldon Robinson (Lida), moth- er, Ruth Knebel; a brother, Er- ic Robinson; daughter, Kaylee Stafford; step-sister, Natasha Edwards (Kent); several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. WESLEY NATHAN ICE Wesley Nathan Ice, 38, of Shelbyville, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the University of Lou- isville hospital in Shelbyville. He was born on Tuesday, July 17, 1984, in Vincennes, to David W. and Joni Flickner Ice, both of whom survive. He served in the infantry of the U.S. Army in A fghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. He is survived by his par- ents, Joni and David Ice; lady friend, Jennifer Todd; his chil- dren, Jonathon Wesley Ice, of Winslow and Morgan Eliza- beth Ice, of Winslow; his sis- ters, Melissa Gayle ( John) True, of Bruceville and Kelsey Jo Ice, of Lexington, Ky.; and other survivors include nu- merous aunts, uncles, cous- ins, nieces, and nephews. Cremation has taken place. An interment of ashes will take place at 11 a.m. EST Sat- urday, December 10, 2022, at the Mt Olive Cemetery, in Mt. Olympus. JOET TA FAY NORRIS Joetta Fay Norris, 82, of Winslow, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at North Park Nurs- ing Home, in Evansville. She was born in Stinesville, on March 18, 1940, to the late Darrell and Violet (Rodgers) Vandeventer. She loved art projects. She painted several paintings through the years including one of the Last Supper and sev- eral of Native Americans. She also put together several puz- zles and one of Jesus that she had framed. She loved work- ing with children and babysit- ting. She enjoyed fishing and eating fish sandwiches. She loved dressing up and look- ing classy and was a member of the Winslow Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her chil- dren; sons, John (Richene) Norris and Russell (Faye) Richardson; daughter, La- na (Richardson) Tbatou; step-daughter, Glenda O'Neal; step-son, Gordon Norris; five granddaughters; three grand- son; and several great grand- children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Norris; and her parents, Darrell and Violet Norris. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Decem- ber 3, 2022, at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel, in Oakland City, with Pastor Joe Henson officiating. Following the training session, there was a tour avail- able of the Eiteljorg Museum. On Saturday, the meeting was at the Marriott with sev- eral special speakers. Jennifer Highwood of "Helping Heroes of America" explained the mission of her organization in support of Veterans. Gov- ernor Eric J. Holcomb was in attendance at the conference on behalf of the Indiana De- partment of Veterans A ffairs to thank Indiana Daughters for their support of Veterans. State Regent Cherie Baxter presented him with a certifi- cate of appreciation honoring him for his service in the US Navy. Historian Doug Roush gave an outstanding presenta- tion of the history of the Dec- laration of Independence, the signers and the story behind the document. Local DAR chapter attends Fall Forum State Regent, Cheri Bonebright Baxter, Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb, and Jill Fewell.
