Winslow Light-Up Parade Evansville woman arrested for OVWI By James Capozella Press-Dispatch News news@pressdispatch.net A traffic stop on Sep- tember 13 by Pike County Sherif f Sgt. Jared Simmons resulted in several charges for Dezare Dawn Coul- son, 43, 4410 Huebner Ln., Evansville. Simmons was traveling north on SR61 when he saw a white Chevy Lumina cross the centerline near CR375S. A license check came back for Coulson as suspended prior. When Simmons spoke with Coulson he noticed ver y rapid speech, poor manual dexterity and was ner vous and fidgety. When the odor of marijuana was noted, Deputy Kane Osgath- arp was there to assist. When asked about marijuana Coul- son said no, but after a blunt roach was found on her, she said she forgot that it was in her front pocket. After failing standard field sobriety tests she was trans- ported to Daviess Commu- nity Hospital where test re- sults showed the presence of methamphetamine, am- phetamine and THC in her system. After being transpor ted to the Pike County Jail, found more marijuana, and Coulson was charged with possession of meth, OVWI and possession of marijuana.
