The girls outscored their hosts 12-2 in the third and then finished with a 7-4 last stop. Alyssa McCutchan (#23), finished with a game high 19; Avery Meece (#1) netted nine; Amelia Adams (#5) and Katelyn Neal (#20) had eight apiece; and Addison Young had a free throw. McKinney had an individ- ual seventh place finish in the 50 free at 25.52 seconds. He was also a member of the Chargers' seventh place 500 free relay team of Rea- dle, Wyatt Luff and Michael Burkhart. They had a time of 1:47.32, which was only 3.5 seconds out of fourth place. McKinney, Burkhart, Rea- dle and Burdette also teamed up for a sixth place finish in the 400 free relay, with a time of 3:56.9. Luff had an individual sev- enth place in the 100 back- stroke, with a time of 1:10.42. Boonville dominated the meet by winning eight of the 12 events for 318 team points. The other team scores were: 2) Mt. Vernon 193, 3) Her- itage Hills 168, 4) Tell City 147, 5) Gibson Southern 137, 6) Forest Park 114, 7) Pike Central 95, 8) Tecumseh 82, 9) South Spencer 32 and 10) North Posey 23. "The ones who got to swim Saturday swam well. We had a lot of personal bests. We had a mountain to climb competing against teams like Mt. Vernon and Tell City, which were all seniors. We are freshmen and sophomore deep, with three juniors and no seniors," said Coach Jason McKinney. He added, "We have im- proved all season. We have one more home meet on Thursday, February 10 and the sectional in a couple of weeks. We are going to keep working and getting better." pin-
