Community Foundation grants $5,000 to TRI-CAP The Pike County Commu- nity Foundation has granted TRI-CAP an additional $5,000 to fund healthcare naviga- tion services in Pike Coun- ty. TRI-CAP will utilize the funds to assist families and individuals in our communi- ty that are struggling to nav- igate through the process of finding affordable healthcare coverage. "The Pike County Com- munity Foundation has been the leading partner in helping TRI-CAP keep this service in Pike County. Our first local donation for this agency-wide effort came from the Pike County Community Founda- tion earlier this year. Not on- ly has the Pike County Com- munity Foundation provided this second round of funding, but they have also helped us secure more community do- nations to assist in this effort. Because of this local support, we are able to continue provid- ing this free, unbiased service locally! " said Joyce Fleck, ex- ecutive director of TRI-CAP. The new bridge replaces the Old Iron Bridge that spanned the Patoka River for more than 100 years. The historic bridge is being reha- bilitated and moved to Petersburg, where it will replace the Charger Bridge.
