It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or move or for the owner to cause or knowingly permit to be operated or moved upon any public highway in this county covered by Section 2, any vehicle or combination of vehicles of a weight exceeding the limitations established by Section 3 of the Ordinance. SECTION 5. A person found to have violated this Ordinance shall be fined a maximum of Twenty-five Hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per violation. e Court may consider ordinary mitigating and aggravating factors in determining the fine. SECTION 6. is Ordinance shall not be effective until and unless signs are erected and maintained designating the prohibitions and limitations of this Ordinance at each end of that portion of the highway affected thereby and at intersecting highways.
