In the last few weeks, Otwell Miller Acade- my fifth graders have learned about the stag- es of butterfly devel- opment (left), how to build a simulated ro- botic finger, and about the fourth state of mat- ter, plasma (right). They have also completed an experiment called, "The Bobby Drop," through "Mystery Science," and an experiment to see if marker colors would separate into different colors of the physical, not light spectrum.
