They had 5 1/2 teams showed up to fi sh. • 1st was the team of Keith McClure and Jr. Sel, 7.86 pounds. They also took the big fi sh of the day award with a 2.81 pounder. • 2nd place was the team of Russel Cook and Roger Clark, 7.00 pounds. They won the 2nd big fi sh award of the day with a 2.48 pounder. • 3rd was the team of George Crosswhite and Jason Price, 5.93 pounds. Carolina Bass Club fi shes Lake Lookout in October. Cleveland County Bass Club fi shed their Aug. tournament at Rhodhiss on August 29th. There were 9 members showing up to what seemed to be a tough day of fi shing. Below are the results:. • 1st place, Robbie Rush, 3 fi sh, 5.42 pounds. • 2nd place, John Rankin, 3 fi sh, 4.10 pounds. • 3rd place, Derek Barkley, 2 fi sh, 4.00 pounds. • 4th place, David Moss, 2 fi sh, 3.22 pounds. • 5th place, Steve Hicks, 1 fi sh, 3.04 pounds. Cleveland County Bass Club fi shed their September tournament at Lake Norman 9/19. They had a good show up of members. The wind did not cooperate, but it did not stop a good day of fi shing. The results are below: • 1st place Robby Rush, 5 fi sh, 10.44 pounds. He also took big fi sh of the day money with a 3.38 pounder. • 2nd Derek Barkley, 5 fi sh, 7.54 pounds. • 3rd Roger Beaver, 5 fi sh, 7.42 pounds. • 4th John Rankin, 5 fi sh, 7.02 pounds. • 5th Rick Lamountain, 5 fi sh, 6.10 pounds. Next month's tournament will be at Greenwood. The top ten from 2019 will fi sh Fishing Creek October 31st, for the fi shoff.
