Terry Edward Dunn, 54, of 518 S. Gibson St., Oakland City, was arrested by Peters- burg Sgt. Chad McClellan. Sgt. McClellan said he saw Dunn pull out of the Dol- lar General Store parking lot and go left of center, then head south on Highway 57. McClel- lan followed the car and no- ticed it going left of center several times. Dunn was also doing 72 mph in a 55 zone be- fore McClellan stopped him near Glezen. Sgt. McClellan said Dunn didn't have his wallet on him, but identified himself. While talking to him, McClellan said Dunn was slurring his speech and he could smell a strong odor of alcohol. When Dunn got out of his vehicle, McClellan said Dunn nearly fell down. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the Pike County Jail, where he test- ed 0.22 percent for blood al- cohol content, which is near- ly three times the legal limit of 0.08 percent. Dunn's teenage son was in the vehicle with him. Dunn was preliminarily charged with operating a ve- hicle while intoxicated, with a minor in the vehicle.
