Dressed up for Tourist Day at Petersburg Elementary, Kole Eck and Sophee Warner, local tourist, reported that they are ready to tour the campsites at Prides Creek. Mrs. Beck and Kimber Bo- ger are showing off their fa- vorite sports team for Spirit Week. Braylie Conder used her chief tickets to help out in the cafete- ria. Students in Mrs. Knust's class who met their Summer AR goal are Taylor Russell, Grayson Schultheis, Sophia Johnson and Trevor Smitson. CALENDER September 19 and 26 – Early Dismissal. September 20, 27 – J.A.M. Club for third and fourth grades. September 21 – Fourth grade field trip to Lincoln State Park. September 24 – Flex Day – No school for students – E-learning day. September 25 – P TO Meeting 3:30 p.m. – Group Room. September 25 -28 – Col- lege Go Week – Dress up days to be announced. September 28 – Final Fri- day/Popcorn Friday – P TO will be selling popcorn the final Fridays of each month for 50 cents. Student Council Dress-up Friday – Wear plaid. Monthly Boxtop Turn-in Day – Classroom winner an- nounced at end of each grad- ing period. MENU Thursday, September 20 : Grilled cheese sandwich, seasoned fries, broccoli flo- rets and kiwi. Friday, September 21:Beef and cheese na- chos with salsa, shredded romaine, baby carrots and strawberries. Monday, September 24: NO SCHOOL. Tuesday, September 25: Meatball sub, sweet pota- to fries, garden salad and grapes. Wednesday, September 26: Popcorn chicken, baked beans, mixed veggies and diced peaches.
