RONALD GARY MASON Ronald Gary Mason, 80, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:43 p.m., on Satur- day, September 15, 2018, at his home. He was born August 9, 1938, in Spurgeon, to Henry Sutton and Inza (Nikon) Ma- son, and married Lois Trib- bie on September 12, 1981, at the Lincoln Boyhood Na- tional Memorial Chapel. He worked as a mechan- ical engineer for McDon- nell Douglas/Boeing. He was a member of Redemp- tion Christian Church in Jasper and former mem- ber of the Spurgeon Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Bap- tist Church in St. Charles, Mo. He served in the Ar- my National Guard, was a 50 -year member of the Ma- sons, and current member of the Winslow Masonic Lodge #260 F&AM and the Scot- tish Rite. He is survived by his wife, Lois Mason, of Hunt- ingburg; two children, Pa- mela Mason, of St. Louis, Mo., and Gary Mason, of St. Charles, Mo.; two sis- ters, Sharon Henke, of El- lisville, Mo., and Ruth Ann Fowler, of Silvis, Ill.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services for will be at 11 a.m. EDT. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Spurgeon General Baptist Church in Spurgeon, with burial to follow at the Spurgeon Cemetery. Visitation was from 4- 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, and will also be one hour prior to the fu- neral on Wednesday at the church. The Winslow Ma- sonic Lodge conducted a memorial vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. GER ALD "GARY" FR ANKLIN SHOUSE Gerald "Gary" Franklin Shouse, 83, passed away September 11, 2018, in Evansville, surrounded by his family and pastor. He was born on June 14, 1935, in Monroe City, to Frank and Madge Shouse. He worked most of his life as a farmer but also held oc- cupations as a coal min- er, construction and log- ging. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Monroe City. He was a proud member of the Mon- roe City Masonic Lodge #548 for 60 years. He was also a proud member of the Knox County Shrine and the Hadi Shrine of Evansville, the NR A and the American Legion. He was president of the Mt. Zion Cemetery As- sociation and Monroe City High School Alumni Associ- ation. He was a member of the 1953 Sectional Champi- onship Basketball Team. He was an avid sports fan and loved cowboy movies. He was a collector of antique tractors and toy tractors. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Shouse; daughters, Millie (Rob) Hansen and Nancee (Mike) Scott; four grandchildren, Chad ( Jess) Hansen, Emily ( Jay) Cock- erham, Calvin (Michele) Scott and Carrie (Clay- ton) Willis; and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, ba- by girl Shouse; and sisters, Miriam Bullard and Virgie Smith. Services were Saturday, September 15, 2018, at noon, with Pastor Brenda Wick of- ficiating. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. EDT on Friday at Wal- nut Grove Church in Monroe City and from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. JERRY LEE MALLORY Jerry Lee Mallory, 74, of Francisco, passed away Fri- day, September 14, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, after a seven month battle with esoph- ageal cancer. He fought a good fight and finally lost the battle here, but is now at peace. He was born December 31, 1943, in Pike County, to William and Margrette (Sharp) Mallory. He is survived by two sis- ters, Maxine Swan, of Fer- dinand, and Linda (Don) Schmidt, of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flo Mallory; three brothers; and two sis- ters. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Septem- ber 19, 2018, at Corn Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Pastor John Shipp officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerville Cemetery. Lee, 89, passed away at 10 :27 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Golden Living Cen- ter in Petersburg. She was born on February 21, 1929, in Vincennes, the daughter of Louis and Hel- en (Bales) Vincent. She married Leonard Ben- son on October 31, 1947, and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1957. She then married Donald G. Lee on July 13, 1961, and he pre- ceded her in death on Octo- ber 16, 2017. She loved her children and grandchildren very much, was a very good cook and loved her flowers. Survivors include her daughters, Cherie Kotter, of Vincennes, and Janet ( Jim) Wilber, of Vincennes; sons, Leonard Benson, of Law- renceville, and Don (Sher- ry) Lee, of Vincennes; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; broth- ers, Delbert and Donald Vin- cent; and sister, Dorothy Jane Vincent. Graveside services were at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sep- tember 14, 2018, at Memori- al Park Cemetery. Visitation was from noon until service time at the cemetery. Sendelweck, 80, of Ireland, Ind., passed away at 5:26 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Dea- coness Hospital in Evans- ville. He was born in Otwell on April 25, 1938, to Philip and Meta (Eck) Sendelweck. He married Rita Wiseman on December 18, 1956, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boone Township. He was employed at the bank of Ireland for 30 years and then worked at D&B Au- to Sales for 30 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Boone Township, where he served on the church coun- cil and ran the cemetery trust fund for over 25 years, Ireland Sportsman Club and was a member of the Ireland Lions Club for over 50 years, where he also served as past president and treasurer. He is survived by his wife, Rita Sendelweck, of Ireland; two sons, Dave ( Jan) Send- elweck, of Otwell, and Jason (Brandi) Sendelweck, of Ire- land; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandchildren on the way; three sisters, Jan- ice Lemond, of Terre Haute, Wilma Jean (Bill) Hoffman, of Ireland, and Kathy Goss, of Jasper. Preceding him in death are one son, Rick Sendel- weck; one grandson, Jason Meyer; and two brothers, Daniel and Albert Sendel- weck. A funeral service was at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at St. John's Luther- an Church in Boone Town- ship, with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 1-7 p.m. on Sunday at the Bech- er-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services on Monday at the church. SANDR A L. (SHIPP) CONLEY Sandra L. (Shipp) Conley, 68, of Washington, passed peacefully at her home, Sept. 9, 2018, surrounded by her devoted husband and loving children. She was born Nov. 7, 1949, in Huntingburg, to Alma (Krodel) and Albert Joseph "Jim" Shipp, Jr. She graduated from Jas- per High School in 1967 and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, the Huntingburg VFW Auxiliary and Washington Boat Club. She retired from Olon Indus- tries and loved camping, gal- livanting and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Earnest Conley, of Washington; son, Kevin (Cynthia) Conley, of Wash- ington; three daughters, Christina (Donald) Schaef- fer, of Vincennes, Heath- er (Raymond) Wininger, of Westfield, and Terese (Lar- ry) Rainey, of Loogootee; sisters Karen (Edward) Young, of Jasper, Donna Thompson, of Tell City, and Jayne (Tim) Mattingly, of Henderson, Ky.; mother, Al- ma Wagoner; 12 grandchil- dren; and five great-grand- children. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Joseph "Jim" Shipp, Jr.; two broth- ers, Ronald Kuebler and Gary Kuebler; and sister, Elaine Shipp. A Mass of Christian Buri- al was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. James Ko- ressel as celebrant. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel in Washington.
