They used recycled kleenex boxes, straws, construction pa- per, cotton balls, and yarn. Left: Mrs. Henson's second graders had a special guest giving them an art lesson. For- mer Art teacher Cathy Hayes showed the stu- dents how to make a special heart picture – just in time for Valen- tine's Day. Far Left: Stepha- nie Richardson demon- strates a lap harp to Mrs. Smith's students and she played some songs. Brynna Brewster and Zoey LeMond watch closely as she showed them how to use the harp. The students got to take turns playing the lap harp. Ms. Richard- son is a student teach- er in Deb Smith's class- room. MENU Thursday, February 22: Taco salad, corn chips with salsa, refried beans and pineapple tidbits. Friday, February 23: Chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and an orange. Monday, February 26: BBQ chicken on bun, sweet potato fries, baked beans and a banana. Tuesday, February 27: Pizza chicken quesadilla, garden salad, cooked car- rots and diced pears. Wednesday, February 28:Chili soup, corn chips, celery and cucumber slic- es, an orange and a cookie.
