Mrs. Kabrick's second period students Kah- le Young, Chloe Willis, Carlie Halbrader, Alyssa Young, Kendrick Sorgius, Isaac Burdette, Bran- don Watkins and Corey Goeppner view the pyra- mids in Egypt. Mrs. Kabrick explains to her students what they are viewing in the Google Expedition. The students were able to see the Egyptian pyramids in the Gi- za pyramid complex bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain large- ly intact. MENU Thursday, February 22: Asian chicken bites and rice or teriyaki chicken and rice with cookie; tossed sal- ad, stir fry vegetables, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Friday, February 23: Mini meatball sub, pepperoni piz- za or cheese stuffed bread- sticks; potato wedges, vege- table medley, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Egyptian Expedition Mrs. Kabrick's Social Studies classes participat- ed in a Google Expedition. They visited the Egyptian pyramids at Giza. Students were able to see 360 degree views of the area. MENU Thursday, February 22: Taco salad, corn chips with salsa, refried beans and pineapple tidbits. Friday, February 23: Chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and an orange. Monday, February 26: BBQ chicken on bun, sweet potato fries, baked beans and a banana. Tuesday, February 27: Pizza chicken quesadilla, garden salad, cooked car- rots and diced pears. Wednesday, February 28:Chili soup, corn chips, celery and cucumber slic- es, an orange and a cookie. CALENDAR Feb. 19 -23 - Second grade will be studying the Chinese new year Feb. 22 - Math Bowl at Griffith Elementary in Washington, 5 p.m. Feb.26 - ISTEP beings today and will go through March 9.
