Steve Slotemaker and Sara Bomberger are the cochairs of the event, which features dancing, a silent auction, cocktails, and hors d'œuvres. Dr. Ann Partridge, founder and director of the Program for Young Women With Breast Cancer and director of the Adult Survivorship Program, will also speak. evening4bridget.org When: April 27, 6:30 PM Where: Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf, 70 Rowes Wharf ASPIRE SPRING GALA What: Massachusetts General Hospital hosts its 13th annual Aspire Gala to raise funds for children, teens, and young adults with Asperger's syndrome and related autism spectrum disorders. Last year the gala raised $1.1 million, and the 2013 Aspire Benefit 60 Where: State Room, 60 State St. HUNTINGTON THEATRE COMPANY What: Help support the Huntington Theatre Company's award-winning youth, education, and community initiatives by attending its Spotlight Spectacular gala, chaired by Susan B. Kaplan. Begin the evening with cocktails and a silent auction before enjoying musical performances, dinner, awards, and a live auction. The black-tie gala, emceed by Darcie Fisher, raised $60,000 last year and will be hosted by the Par Fore the Cure Golf Classic. The night will include a sit-down dinner, drinks, speakers, entertainment, an opportunity drawing, and a VIP reception. Dinner packages, weekend getaways, and tickets to the World Series are some of the exclusive items being offered in the raffle. All proceeds will support brain tumor research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. jimmyfund.org When: March 23, 6 PM Where: Harvard Club of Boston, 374 Commonwealth Ave. JOSLIN DIABETES CENTER What: The annual event A Spoonful of Ginger is back, raising awareness and funds for the Asian American Diabetes Initiative at the Joslin Diabetes Center. Last year's event raised $275,000, and the sponsors hope to beat that number at this year's edition, which honors Ming Tsai, Eva and Nick Chau, and C. Ronald Kahn, MD. Tsai joins other participating chefs, such as Joanne Chang and Andy Husbands, to promote community initiatives, research, and diabetes care. joslin.org When: March 18, 6:30 PM Where: Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave. WORKING WONDERS What: Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children's annual Working Wonders benefit drew nearly 1,000 guests last year and raised more than $1.1 million for the center. This year, the evening features a tasting with guest chefs including Tiffani Faison, chef and owner of Sweet Cheeks Q and a finalist on Bravo's Top Chef, and Brooke Vosika, executive chef at the Four Seasons Hotel. The program also includes a live auction and will award the first-ever Ellen M. Zane Award for Visionary Leadership to Thomas F. Shields Sr., who serves as a leader in the healthcare industry.
