Peter and Paul Catholic School Fort Branch Community School TWIGS OF THE WEEK Mr. Fisher chose Harper Vowels as the 3-5 Twig of the Week. Harper exhibits a pos- itive outlook and atti- tude in the classroom. She is kind and helpful to everyone. She is able to cooperate and work well with any of the oth- er students in the class. Harper is new to our school this year, and we are happy to have her at FBCS. Mrs. Edwards chose Shyanne Stiles as the K-2 Twig of the Week. Shyanne is a very hard worker in our class- room. She has two goals for herself: become a better reader and clip up to red. Shyanne is off to a great start in achieving those goals. She is a great role model for others in our class- room. She follows our classroom rules, proce- dures, and recess rules. She is a good friend to her classmates. We are lucky to have Shyanne in our first grade class- room and look forward to watching her grow as a FBCS Twig. Mrs. Rowe chose eighth grader Ian Maikranz as the Mid- dle School Twig of the Week. Ian always works hard. Even when he is absent from school, he gets his homework made up quickly. He is not afraid to ask the im- portant questions. He has a unique sense of humor. Kindergarteners pulled weeds from the playground during recess to show their appreciation for the custodial staff. Oct. 2 was Custodian Appreciation Day, the kindergarten students wanted to do something to show our janitors that they appreciate them. Mrs. Davenport's fifth grade class decorated their door for College Go! Week. Cooper celebrated his birthday in Mrs. Hays' kin- dergarten class. Cooper's mom brought in treat bags for the class to enjoy. Maria Kissel's kindergarten students enjoy their applesauce after waiting patiently while it cooked throughout the day. Maria Kissel's students are help make applesauce to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day. Mr. Jason Kruger's class just celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day on Monday, Sept. 26. Gibson Southern senior Eliott Church is interning in Mr. Jason Kruger's class- room this semester. Mr. Jason Kruger's class just celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day on Monday, Sept. 26.
