Bird Hunters Club Youth Day is October 8 By James Capozella It is not to early to mark your calender for the 16th An- nual Pike County Bird Hunt- ers' Club Youth Day. Saturday, October 8 is the date, kicking off at 8 a.m. with a free break- fast for all youth followed by archery, muzzle loader, BB gun, darts, 22 rifle marksman- ship, trap shooting and Chu- kar hunting (over dogs). The club welcomes all 4-H Shooting Sports youth, Scouts and all other youth. All firearms, ammunition and equipment will be provid- ed. A fter lunch, a K-9 demon- stration by Pike County Depu- ty Sheriff Buck Seger will take place, followed by a random drawing for more than $4,000 in rifles, shotguns and archery equipment.
