He also taught them about the history of animals in our area and how ma- ny have become extinct since 1800. He has many different pelts to show the students and explained to which animal each pelt belonged. He also explained animal behaviors, how to stay safe around animals, and water safety. It was an excellent presentation. We are very thankful he came to teach us today! Pike Central Middle School raised $472 for Riley Dance Marathon with a hat day and dodgeball tournament. Team Jochim was the winner of the tournament. Ava Aaserud, Jackson Brewster and Trinity Lemond show off their fully inflated balloon from the chemical reaction. Ethan Carvantes, Daegan Full- ington and Shawn Condra inflate balloons with a chemical reaction in Ms. Angie Baker's science classes. Waiting for the third balloon to inflate is Carson Wiscaver, Ethan Nelson and Aiden Wiscaver. Brady Cooper, Ian Shoultz and Joshua Harker show the different sizes of balloons with the chemi- cal reaction. Emily Riker, Caleigh Cox and Brooklyn Query measure out baking soda for their chemical reaction experiment in Ms. Angie Baker's fifth period class.
