A-6 Wednesday, September 22, 2021 The Press-Dispatch A group of kayakers back up on the boat ramp into the Patoka River at the start of the Clog the Patoka event. About 150 people participated in the Clog this year. A group of kayakers wait just down stream of the boat launch for friends so they can float down the seven-mile stretch of river to the Winslow Riverside Park. Clog organizer Chris Clement uses a fire hose from Patoka Township Fire Department to spray mud off the boat ramp at Survant. Darrell Miller and Rex Thompson help Jamie Hall-Catt and April Simpson get their pad- dle boat unloaded from a truck so Simpson and Hall-Catt would participate in Clog the Pa- toka.
