Stuckey, 78, of Princeton, passed away Tues- day, September 14, 2021, at RiverOaks Health Campus, due to complications follow- ing a stroke. He was born October 16, 1942, to the late Orrin and Bar- bara (Burbank) Stuckey, and grew up in Oakland City. He worked at Mid-States Rubber in Princeton and Warehousing, Inc. in Evans- ville, before being employed for 34 years with Southern Railway/Norfolk Southern as a brakeman/conductor until his retirement in 2010. While with the railroad, he served as President of his UTU Lo- cal #490 for 12 years. He was an avid runner, com- monly seen at the old PCHS track, and enjoyed riding his bicycle throughout Gibson County. Besides exercising, he also enjoyed watching No- tre Dame football and cheer- ing on his favorite NASCAR drivers, especially #14 Tony Stewart. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna (Patterson) Stuckey; daughter, Tiffany (Mark) Johnson, of Chester- field, Mo.; son, Marcus Stuck- ey, of Dallas, Texas; special "oldest son," Don (Sharon) Colvin, of Patoka; two grand- daughters; brother, Roger (Su- san) Stuckey, of Winslow; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Ste- ven; and a nephew. Per his wishes, no memori- al services will be held. BOBBIE L aSHELL PAYNE Bobbie LaShell Payne, 59, of Petersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vin- cennes. She was born September 23, 1961, in Evansville, to the late Robert Wayne "Bobby" Gallo- way. She was a member of Pe- tersburg First United Meth- odist Church and was a grad- uate of both McLean County High School and OCTC. She loved making diamond art, watching hummingbirds and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandbabies. Survivors include a son, Patrick Payne, of Livermore, Ky.; two daughters, Kelli (Er- ic) Wood, of Henderson, Ky., and Jessica Best, of Owens- boro, Ky.; nine grandchildren; her mother, Joann Galloway, of Calhoun, Ky.; two broth- ers, Steve (Lynn) Moody, Sr. and Michael (Tiffany) Moody, both of Petersburg; two sis- ters, Rhonda ( Jeff ) Flynn of Eddyville, Ky., and Regina Simmons, of Calhoun, Ky.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and ma- ny friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Gifford; and by a son-in-law, Roger Lee Best. BRENDA K AY HAYES Brenda Kay Hayes, 67, of Oakland City, entered rest on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at Dea- coness Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born on November 4, 1953, in Gibson County, to Ernest and Ruth Royalty May. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sharron Boost; and husband, Gilbert Hayes, in 2020. She was an R.N. for over 29 years. She had worked at Wirth Hospital as Director of Nursing and St. Joseph Hospi- tal in Huntingburg. HARMON Helen L. Harmon, 91, of Evansville, formerly of Oak- land City, entered rest on Sat- urday Sept. 18, 2021, at her home. She was born on May 1, 1930, in Pike County, to Pres- ton and Ruth Potter. She was retired from Pot- ter-Brumfield after 30 years of service, and was a member of Good Shepherd United Meth- odist Church in Oakland City. She was preceded in death by her sister, June Clark; her first husband, Prentice Smith in 1978; and second husband, William "Bill" Harmon, in 2012. He was born December 5, 1946, at Oakland City, the son of Denver and Laura Anna Henson Bolin. He loved his family and play- ing with the kids. He loved to tell stories and jokes. He loved riding horses and was great at anything he put his mind to, always saying he was a jack of all trades and master of none. She was born November 2, 1948, to Harold and Glad- ys (Phillips) McClellan in Pe- tersburg. She and her husband, Mi- chael Morton, were married July 17, 1998. She is survived by her hus- band, Michael Morton; broth- ers, Freddy and Teddy Mc- Clellan; and sister, Carolyn Jean Byer. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Brenda and Anna. She was born on Decem- ber 31, 1968, in Washington, to David Lee and Karen Sue (Eck) Collins. She enjoyed playing com- puter games, watching movies and listening to music. Most of all, though, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Roy Allen Selby, of Carlisle, and Chip (Brandy) Selby, of Palestine, Ill.; nine grandchil- dren; and several great-grand- children; niece and caregiver, Jenna White; aunt, Mary Jane Rhoades; and a brother, Les- ter Stork. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ladonna Williams; son, Jim Bob (Lori) Williams; grandchildren, Jaden Wil- liams, Dalton Williams and Jasmine Fleming; and two brothers, Ronnie Williams and Terry Williams. He was born December 8, 1928, in Stendal, to John Henry August and Katherine Mary (Egbert) Sickman. He married Wilma Jean Kern on November 7, 1958, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Stendal. He was a school teacher and taught for many years at the Holland Elementa- ry School. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
