The sign-ups will be at the American Legion Park on Illinois St. in the concession stand on Wednesday, March 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. and Sat- urday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is also an online sign-up at tshq.bluesom- brero.com/petersburglit- tleleague. Sign-up can al- so be done by mailing in a sign-up form to Peters- burg Little league. The registration fee is $20 +$20 per player for concession duty for all leagues. The maximum cost per family is $100 plus concession. Prospective players who cannot make it to the sign-up or don't have ac- cess to the internet can call Joey 0'Brien at 812- 486 -7107. No player will be turned away due to inability to pay. Pike Central Youth Wrestling Camp to be held March 11-15 Wrestlers who are inter- ested in improving their skills and knowledge of the sport are invited to participate in the Pike Central Youth Wrestling Camp. The wrestling camp is for students who will be in kindergarten or first through sixth grades in the 2019-20 school year. The camp will run from Monday, March 11, to Friday, March 15, from 6 -7:10 p.m., at the Pike Central High School gym. The wrestling finale will be held on Wednesday, March 20, at 6 p.m. The sign-up fee is $45 ($25 for any additional siblings) and includes a T-shirt, if registered by March 1. Registrations will be accepted until the first night of the camp. Winslow Sports League holding conditioning, sign-ups Who is ready to play some ball? Join the Winslow Sports League Wednesdays this month for conditioning and sign- ups. Open conditioning and sign-ups for t-ball, soft- ball and baseball will take place on Monday and Wednesday nights at the Winslow Communi- ty Center from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sign-ups can also be done on-line through the Winslow Sports League's page on Facebook. IDNR Hunter Education course begins March 25 The Indiana Depart- ment of Natural Resourc- es is sponsoring a Hunter Education Class in Pike County the last week of March. The course takes about 10 hours to com- plete. It will conducted from 5:30 to 9 p.m. each night Monday, March 25 through Wednesday, March 27 at the Sugar Ridge Fish and Wildlife Headquarters Building south of Winslow, off of Highway 364. Seating is limited. Those interested can reg- ister for the class at www. register-ed.com to re- serve a spot in the class. "Anyone born after De- cember 31, 1986, must successfully complete a DNR-offered hunter edu- cation class to purchase a hunting license," said in- structor Keith Thomas. Winslow co-ed softball tourney set for March 23-24 The second annual Winslow co-ed softball tourney is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24. The tournament is for anyone 18 or older. Each team must have at least four female players, with a maximum of 13 players per team. There is a $200 entry fee, and each team can purchase a maximum of four homerun bracelets at $10 each.
