War Veteran Stanley Nelson at the Otwell Veterans Day program with three of his great grandchildren who attend school at OMA. Ms. Vicki Miley was a guest speak- er at OMA during American Education Week. The theme was "The Commu- nity We Live in" Vicki as well as 4th grade teacher, Kim Elliott brought in Otwell memorabilia and educated the students on the history of Otwell. Tom and Karen Hill came in and spoke to Grades K-2 about how to make honey. It was a great learn- ing experience and the kids loved it! Their granddaughter Josie always tells her friends how yummy the honey is, so the students got to try it for them- selves! Mrs. Tusing helps Ryder Troutman and Lily Christ- mas get started on their bead projects during re- cess.
