We have been able to adjust salary scales appropriately and provide a 4 percent raise to staff. I would like to continue the posi- tive work being accomplished. For the future, I would like to further build commu- nity relations, increase school safety and continue improvement to our facilities. Assistant Highway Superintendent Josh Byrd said the county had been getting complaints from motorists about the road being hard to see at night and in the rain.
