A-6 Local Wednesday, October 31, 2018 The Press-Dispatch HARTING J eff RECORDER PIKE COUNTY Pike County is in a position for growth and your county office holders should be prepared to work together with progress as their goal. The office of Recorder is not just a job, it's a commitment. Looking for ways to improve the office would be a priority. I will seek long-term solutions while keeping a close watch on the office budget. As I approach retirement as a control room operator at IPL, I appreciate being considered as your next Recorder. If elected, I will take on this new challenge using the experience I have gained in small business and local government. Frank Coleman has protected our families throughout his law enforcement career of 28 years. He has a plan as Sheriff to protect our kids and communi es from gun violence, drugs and child predators – that's what a good leader does. Paid For By Jody Hoover For Auditor JODY HOOVER FOR AUDITOR To my Pike County friends and neighbors, It has been very humbling to run for the Pike County Auditor. I have walked throughout the county, knocking on doors and speaking with residents. You have told me about your children and grandchildren. We've shared concerns, laughter and a few tears. And you have sent me on my way with a richer understanding of our community. My experience as the County Assessor and Recorder are important. It highlights the job-specific skills that will allow me to begin as Auditor on day one. I ask for your vote on or before Tuesday, Nov. 6, and I look forward to earning your trust.
