C-12 School Wednesday, September 26, 2018 The Press-Dispatch missed her and cried. Adison said, "The first day (at Hoosier Girls' State) they said tell us a fun fact, I said 'I'm a twin,' and I guess it like didn't hit me until later that night, 'like wow, she's not here.'" "We are always in the same kind of general stuff," said Ashton, and Ad- ison said, "I'm just better at it," with a sly smile. Both girls are not at all ready to be apart, but they may end up at separate col- leges. Adison has applied to Indiana University and is still awaiting a response. Ashton has already been accepted to University of Southern Indiana, where her boyfriend goes. Ashton said, "I told her last night if she doesn't get into IU, she can just come with me to USI," where Ad- ison replied with, "I was like, uh thanks, you have faith in me," with a sarcas- tic tone. Either way, neither of them are prepared to be apart. They often say the same thing at the same time, and their mom men- tioned when they were lit- tle, one twin had a dream, and the other twin knew what it was before even talking about it. Ashton wants to study pre-law and history, and Addison wants to be a ho- micide detective. Overall, the sisters get along quite well, and they throughly enjoy their time together. They do have their disagreements, for example, Adison hates when Ashton makes her late, and hates when she gets a bad grade on a test or paper, but Adsion said that they have always tried to be in the same group at camps, and they like know- ing that they always have someone in their corner no matter what.
