Commissioner Brian Davis said he had heard from several residents they were interested in what used to be County Road 300E. It was a northsouth route from Highway 356 just east of Alford south to Highway 56 near the overpass for Solar's rail spur. Davis said because of concerns, he wanted a northsouth road generally along the same route to be reopened and for it to have an east-west intersection. The next commissioners meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m Monday, December 17. However, no time frame was mentioned for revisiting the issue. ★ $1 million grant Continue from page 1 3) Seventh St. between Spruce and Cherry Sts. They could come in after getting off work and get their hair cut," said Huffman.
