DNR seeks input on fish, hunt, trap regulations The Indiana Department of Natural Resources' Division of Fish & Wildlife wants to hear ideas on fishing, hunting, trapping and other fish-and-wildlife-re- lated regulations in Indiana, including special permits. Through May 15, the public can use a convenient online form to contribute ideas and provide input on issues the DNR has identified for consideration. The form is at wildlife.IN.gov/7373. htm. "Got INput? " allows the public to com- ment on ideas put forward by the DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife as well as re- quests for rule changes from citizen peti- tions. The program also allows members of the public to propose their own ideas on any fishing, hunting or trapping topic. Got INput users must register with a username and a password. Input and ideas can also be mailed to: DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife Attn: Got INput 402 W. Washington St., Room W273 Indianapolis, IN 46204 This is the second year of the Got IN- put program. The first year, in 2014, more than 3,000 comments were received. A fter May 15, the Division of Fish & Wildlife staff will evaluate all com- ments and seek approval on rule chang- es to present to the Natural Resources Commission for preliminary adoption. No rule proposals would take effect this year. Pike Central Middle School eighth grade swimmers were recognized at their awards banquet recently.
